At Sustrans, we are committed to protect your privacy and to being transparent about how we collect and use personal data.

We collect personal data about you when you interact with us by registering for an online Big Walk and Wheel account, when you request to be kept informed about Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel, visit our website or otherwise provide us with your personal data.

When you chose to register for an online account for the Big Walk and Wheel website, we may collect your name, email address, work address.

We collect information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other devices you use to access our websites. We also collect information through your device about your operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages and device identifiers.

When you visit the Big Walk and Wheel website, we also collect information about how you use our website and track which pages you visit when you follow links from our emails.

If you unsubscribe from marketing communications minimal personal data will be kept on a suppression list to ensure you do not receive such communications.

We only share your personal data from the Big Walk and Wheel website with prize sponsors where necessary, and carefully selected third party processors that help us deliver the Big Walk and Wheel challenge.

Aggregated or anonymous data about Big Walk and Wheel may be seen by third parties, such as local authorities, but personal data will not be shared.

Within Sustrans your personal data is only accessible by those required to provide you with the Big Walk and Wheel services.

You may access your personal data at any time by logging in to the Big Walk and Wheel website and visiting ‘your account’.

If any of your details change or need correcting, then you can edit these in your account or contact us to have these corrected by emailing bigwalkandwheel@sustrans.org.uk. You can also ask for your account to be deactivated or deleted.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time, by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails.

If you are unhappy with our use of your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would encourage you to contact us in the first instance so we can attempt to resolve any concerns.
